Hilton Herbs ALOE VERA extract for animals can be given internally or applied externally to the skin of your dog, cat, or horse.

Traditionally used in herbal medicine, Aloe Vera juice has a beneficial effect on digestion and healing.

External use:

Liquid aloe vera is an excellent base for creating baths, gels, and sprays; simply add plant tinctures or essential oils.
Aloe Vera helps to soothe minor wounds: scratches, small cuts, insect bites, and symptoms of dermatitis.

Internal use:

Aloe vera juice is often recommended for digestive disorders.
Commonly used in phytotherapy to support horses suffering from gastric ulcers.

Aloe Vera extract is liquid and can be applied to the skin or ingested. Note that this liquid is twice as concentrated as Aloe Vera leaf juice.

Ingredients of Hilton Herbs Liquid Aloe Vera Extract

Ingredients: Aloe Vera Extract 2:1

The 2:1 Aloe Vera extract is made from 10:1 Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera leaves are cut and washed to remove aloin. They are then crushed, and the pulp and fibers are removed. After a quick pasteurization, the Aloe Vera juice is concentrated through reverse osmosis. This results in a 10:1 Aloe Vera gel (10 volumes of fresh plant = 1 volume of gel), and finally, the pH is adjusted.

A dilution process achieves a 2:1 ratio, meaning an extract that is twice as concentrated as fresh Aloe Vera juice (2 volumes of fresh plant = 1 volume of extract).

Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis). Most of the time, Aloe Vera is processed and transported in powder form. Due to its high water content, transporting it is expensive. It is therefore dehydrated near cultivation sites and rehydrated upon arrival at its destination.
At Hilton Herbs, Aloe Vera is not pasteurized at high temperatures, preserving a high concentration of enzymes.

How to use Aloe Vera extract for dogs, cats, and horses

ALOE VERA extract can be added to the daily diet of your dog, cat, or horse. If possible, administer it in two doses.
It can also be used externally, for example, on wounds.

Recommendations:

Horses and ponies: as advised by your veterinarian, 50 to 120 ml per day.
Dogs: up to 25 kg, 2.5 to 5 ml per day. Over 25 kg, 5 ml per day, increasing up to 10 ml.
Cats (average weight 4 kg): 10 to 15 drops twice a day (1 ml = 20 drops).

Note: Aloe Vera may have a laxative effect, so start with a low dose and gradually increase, or consult your veterinarian.
