How to Use Gale Defender Lotion on Horses

The Gale Defender Lotion for Horses can be applied all over the body.

It is recommended to use it at the first signs of wounds or irritations.

For optimal effectiveness:

• Brush off dried mud or clean the area with clear water, then gently dry it,
• Apply Gale Defender Lotion on dry skin,
• Massage to create a protective film on the skin.
• If the skin is flaky or has scabs, gently remove them before applying the lotion.
• Apply the lotion to dry limbs before turning your horse out to pasture or paddock.

The Gale Defender Lotion for Horses can be applied even to damaged skin and should not cause pain upon application. This lotion does not form a barrier; however, the oils it contains should help limit water penetration.

If using the lotion for the first time, it is recommended to perform a patch test on a small area first.
